He has an accomplished background involving strategic planning, marketing and direct marketing, business development, administration and operations. He led project teams and internal staffs, coordinating manpower, material and financial resources. He has demonstrated expertise in product and service development, marketing research and analysis, licensing agreements, business planning and forecasting. He has collaborated with senior management, board members, marketing executives and outside agencies in the expansion of business offerings, fund raising and the creation of promotional and public relations programs.

In corporate and consulting life for over 40 years, he is heralded for his practical, action driven, bottom line approach to business and revenue generation, his experience and track record of success emanate from the for profit and not for profit industries. For over twenty years in the brokerage industry, he and his teams produced and implemented marketing programs that generated over $100 million in revenues. He designed and implemented the marketing research that led Merrill Lynch into the mutual fund business and the rest is legend. At Prudential Bache, his direct marketing efforts delivered over 300,000 qualified leads to the brokers. At W. H. Newbolds’ he redesigned the corporate image, brought in their first cash management account and tailored direct marketing programs for each branch’s locale that met with huge success and enabled the brokers to compete with the major firms.

For the not for profit, Medicare Certified, Visiting Nurse Association of Staten Island in New York, as a consultant, he wrote the strategic plan, and later joined as Executive Vice President, to implement it. The agency achieved unprecedented revenues and “surpluses”. So successful was his management style built around the concept of concentric circles of positive impact that the National League of Nursing featured the agency in their educational videos on excellence in management. He produced business-generating programs as Executive Director of a Network of VNAs. As the marketing consultant to the national Visiting Nurse Association of America, he produced, edited and co-authored a 256 page, nationally distributed marketing textbook.
